Drugging of drinks in popular night clubs and bars is not uncommon and all visitors should exercise caution in unfamiliar and potentially dangerous environments. Sexual assaults and rapes can occur and female travellers in particular should avoid travelling throughout poorly lit areas of the country after dark.
