- A letter on company letterhead addressed to the Embassy of Tanzania, Visa Section, Washington DC, signed by the company executive, stating the nature of the business, duration of the trip, companies to be visited, guaranteeing sufficient funds.

Citizens fo the following countries must request their visas at DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA: SOMALIA, LEBANON, BANGLADESH, SUDAN, ERITREA, ETHIOPIA, IRAN, IRAQ, TURKEY, PAKISTANI, SRI LANKA, SYRIA, EGYPT, JORDAN, YEMEN, MOROCCO, TUNISIA, U.A.E., SAUDI ARABIA, AFGHANISTAN, NIGERIA AND WEST AFRICAN NATIONALS, ALL REFUGEES AND ALL STATELESS PERSONS. IT IS EMPHASIZED THAT NATIONALS AND PERSONS OF THE MENTIONED CATEGORIES MAY NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY INTO TANZANIA WITHOUT BEING IN POSSESSION OF REFEREED VISAS.
